WLAN antennas:

- Inside the service building in cottage village, ”Santalahti_WLAN2”. Speed 8M/1M.
- Inside the apartments, ”Santalahti_WLAN3, 5 and 6”. Speed 8M/1M.
- Inside the meeting room Luppi and Takkatupa, "Santalahti_WLAN4". Speed 8M/1M.
Radius of action:
The best audibility is in the cafeteria and nearby the conference- and festivity facilities and the Log house.
The maximum range of audibility without obstacles announced by the supplier is 300 meters.
Natural obstacles, buildings and even rain- and snowfall weakens the signal.
Tha actual range of action measured with a laptop computer is 50-100 meters, depending on the terrain.
The power of the computers net card also has an effect to the audibility.
Connection errors:
-Shutting down and rebooting the computer usually helps to wireless connection errors.
-Activate the computers wireless network connection on.
-Open "wireless network connection" -page and choose "update network connection" and choose the strongest "Santalahti" -connection from the list.
-All "Santalahti" -connections are open, no passwords are needed.
The service provider of the outgoing e-mail (SMTP): smtp.kymp.net
This is needed for sending e-mail, for exemple to Outlook Express.
